A historic barn building in Washington County, MD needed renovation, including a new metal roof and siding, structural reinforcement and new framing to accommodate windows and doors. After demolition of existing, deteriorating building components, the next step was to ensure that the structure of the building was adequate and stabilized. This process involved raising one side of the barn and replacing several framing members and installing bracing/supports in multiple locations. We installed an Everlast metal panel for the roof and the siding once all framing of walls was completed. The final touches included installing soffit, gutter and a stone face to the small area of concrete wall in the back.
